A small north african village in the mountains lives a very traditional, simple lifestyle. 15 years old Mohamed, one of the village inhabitants, is an outcast. His biggest dream is to be accepted by the local kids, whose football game he observes daily, sitting lonely on the bench. Everything changes for ever bullied Mohamed, when a British photographer, attracted by picturesque views arrives into the village. Mohamed observes the aggression towards the Photographer from the radical village authority Nagib, the uncle of the teenage gang leader. Later, when photographer is left alone,Mohamed, encouraged by his wise grandfather, approaches the foreigner.
Hospitality transforms into friendship, when photographer discovers Mohamed’s visual talent. Despite of the fact that they don’t speak the same language, the man spends hours teaching Mohamed the art of taking pictures. The boy is very shy, but curious and keen to learn. Mohamed cant be happier: he had found a friend.
Shortly, Mohamed is given a more tempting offer: if he will help the kids gang to mug photographer,he will finally take a place as a goal keeper, gain the acceptance that he dreamed about all his life. Seeing that Mohamed doubts, gang leader threatens the boy.
Mohamed suffers all the night and in the morning takes a decision which leads to dramatic consequences
